The Rock Creek Ranch…
|
Founded in 1992 as part of the Rock Creek Outfitter family, Rock Creek Ranch is a remotely located working ranch nestled in the mouth of Rock Creek Canyon. This sparsely populated region (.03 persons per 5 miles square), is unmatched for its untamed wilderness setting. Ranch operations take place within the borders of carved canyon walls that rise 300 feet high. The ranch is settled on the flat where Willow Creek and Rock Creek drainages join together to form a rapidly flowing streeam.

Rising above us, the canyon crests are lined with teepee rings that echo with a constant reminder of the past occupants (Sitting Bull). The Assinboni & Sioux Indians called this home during the summers to hunt the buffalo herds that roamed the prairies. From long ago hunting evidence to the stark beauty of the present time, Rock Creek Ranch is very special indeed.

Rock Creek Ranch founders Dean & Patti Armbrister, have set goals of longevity and quality in every product produced by the ranch. Ranch interests include cattle ranching, feedlot operations, and recreational hunting.
